Alex Valle celebrates first success as a Celtic player after winning the Scottish League Cup.

20-year-old left-back Alex Valle has confirmed he plans to return to Barcelona after his loan spell at Celtic ends next summer amid reports the Scottish outfit are keen to sign the player on a permanent basis, according to Cadena Ser.
Celtic have signed Valle from Barcelona on a one-year loan deal with no option to make it permanent, but the Bianconeri are reportedly keen to sign the 20-year-old left-back on a permanent basis, having impressed with four assists in 14 appearances this season.
Bayer have just enjoyed a successful spell in the Scottish League Cup with Celtic, beating arch-rivals Rangers 5-4 on penalties after a 3-3 draw in 90 minutes, with the 20-year-old left-back coming on as a substitute in extra time.
‘Both me and the team are in very good form. I’m very happy and I think the team is excellent. It’s a great reward to end the year,’ said Valle.
When asked about his future with his boyhood club, Valle was open to a return to the Blaugrana in the summer of 2025.
‘Barcelona has always been my home. This will be my 11th season, so I have a special fondness for it. At the end of the day, it’s a football situation and everyone does what they can.’
‘I’m so grateful for everything ยูฟ่าเบท that has happened and everything that has happened in my life. I live in the moment and enjoy it, and whatever happens next is what is meant to be.’
‘I feel like I have improved and will continue to improve in other areas,’ Valle said.
